The latest name to be released is the CEO of The Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCO) where the tenure of Mr. Jonathan Amoako-Baah as Chief Executive of the company has ended.
President Akufo-Addo has therefore named Mark Baah, a certified Engineer as new CEO but in an acting capacity.
Mark Baah was first appointed Director of Systems Operations at Ghana Grid Company Limited in 2017.
His responsibilities include governance oversight for the Systems Control Center, power system planning, regulatory affairs and the Wholesale Power Market. Mark was previously Manager, Market Operations and the Special Assistant to the Chief Executive of GRIDCo and He was instrumental in the transition and operationalisation of GRIDCo. Mark holds degrees in Electrical Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), an MSc. degree in Electromechanical Engineering from the Moscow Power Engineering Institute and an MBA from Leeds University Business School.
He is a member of Ghana Institution of Engineers (GhIE).
