Probe All Government Appointees …Nana Kwaku Ofori Atta

The current economic harsh conditions confronting the country has stirred Nana Kwaku Ofori Atta to react.
And to the established businessman, one of the surest ways to address the issue is subjecting all government appointees to a thorough probe.

He believes such a step will go a long way in curbing corruption that is deep seated especially at high places .

He said in an interview that”Corruption has taken entrenched position at our various governmental organizations.

“I suggest that as a matter of urgency, proper structures should be put in place to investigate government officials, and if one is found culpable, that official should be made to face consequences.”
He added “We should get to the point where politics is reserved for those who are ready to serve and not considered as a profit making venture.

“Foreign investors have lost trust in ghana due to high demands of percentages on bidding with bribery”

“Political power does not, in any way, make a person arrogant; it rather serves as a highly efficacious catalyst which quickens the chemical reaction that unveils authentic, but long-hidden, character of the individual.”

He pointed out that the reason most African leaders don’t succeed, though they have good intentions, is that, upon assumption of office, an infinitesimal selfish clique, literally, take these leaders hostage and cut off those genuinely ready to serve.

“This hostage takers will put on the attitude of being the sole group that made the Presidents’ electoral victories a reality. And to solidify such crazy adventure, they will peddle lies about others to these leaders, and perpetually feed them with chaff,” he said.
