Rejoice FM burnt down

A Mim-based radio station, Rejoice FM in the Ahafo Region has been burnt down after it caught fire this morning.

No casualty was recorded but properties worth thousands of Ghana cedis have been destroyed.

Witnesses say the fire started at 800 am, minutes after the station ended an interview.

A morning show host and general manager, Emmanuel Adu Sarfo reportedly saw the fire while working in the studio.

“He announced about the outbreak and asked listeners to inform the police and fire officers about it.”

The fire intensified minutes after the presenter rushed outside.

The cause of the fire is yet to be established after the Goaso Fire Command concludes with its investigation.
