President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is expected to address the country today May 31, 2020, on new measures rolled out to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus.

Many are anticipating especially churches that the restriction on public gatherings will be lifted in order to allow them to converge and worship as well as borders of the country reopen in order to allow stranded Ghanaians oustide to return home.

Educational Institutions as well as churches have since presented a roadmap to the government as to how they will adhere to health protocols if the restrictions are eased but it is unclear if the government will agree to these proposals.

Senior Minister, Yaw Osafo-Maafo, had earlier revealed that final talks on how Ghana should lift coronavirus restrictions will round off on Friday, May 29, 2020.
