Reopening of Voter Register: NDC’S National organizer directs all their PCs and MPs to be vigilant ahead of October 1

As part of the measures being put in place by the National Democratic Congress to police the Voter registration exercise from start to finish, a directive has been given to all their PCs and MPs to ensure its effective implementation.

 

“Following the voter registration scheduled by the Electoral Commission on Thursday 1st of October 2020, all Parliamentary Candidates and Sitting Member of Parliament have been advised to personally get involved and serve as Party Agents based on some intelligence gathered.”, the directive stressed.

 

This information was communicated to the PCs and MPs in a special wireless notification which was issued by the National Organizer of The NDC, Mr Joshua Hamidu Akamba and copied to all Regional Chairpersons and Organizers, on the 30th of September, 2020.

 

According to the directives, in an instance where the PCs/MPs will not personally be available, they should delegate any of the following people to represent them as agents at their respective District Office for the exercise; Constituency Chairman, Constituency Secretary, Constituency Organizer and Constituency Election Director.

 

He also emphasized on the importance of reporting before Start of Day Report and staying throughout the process for the Close of Day Report with vigilance.
