We wish to retract an earlier publication under the heading “TRASACCO STEALING PANTANG, BORTEYMAN LANDS?

We published a story under the banner above, that sought to say that the Real Estate Giant is encroaching on legitimate lands belonging to individuals and organisations in and around Pantang and Borteyman areas.

We wish to state that the story was published in error without fully verifying the facts as presented to us by the author of the said story. It has emerged from available documents that, Trasacco Company Limited has neither encroached nor stolen lands belonging to individuals and organizations in and around Pantang and Borteyman.

Legal Documents vis-à-vis Land Title documents available is a breathing proof that all the disputed lands in the aforementioned areas belong to Trasacco Company Limited.

Trasacco Company Limited is not hiding behind any constituted task force neither is the company using land guards to harass land owners in the areas mentioned. These allegations are false and must be disregarded by the public.
