REVEALED: Abuga Pele turns Tutor and Football Coach at Nsawam Prison

Former National Coordinator for the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), Hon. Abuga Pele serving a six-year jail term at Nsawam Medium Prisons after causing financial loss to the state is still a great asset to the nation despite his incarceration.

According to our sources in the correctional centre, the ‘political prisoner’  has now become a very useful asset for the authorities teaching, coaching and doing all sorts of other things.

This has been confirmed by the National Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo after some party bigwigs paid the former NDC MP for Chiana-Paga a visit.

“When we went he was on the field coaching a team. Two teams were playing, and we were told that he is a coach of one of the teams”, Mr Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo revealed.

According to Mr Ampofo, it was gratifying to see their colleague doing well and putting his talent to good use even though he is behind bars.

Mr Ofosu Ampofo as part of the visit donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and sanitary items on behalf of the NDC to the prison.

He was accompanied by a Deputy General Secretary of NDC Peter Otukonor, Mr. Alex Segbefia, Lawyer Abraham Amaliba and other members of the party.
