Rwanda’s president disturbed over Arsenal’s defeat to Brentford

Writing on his twitter handle, Mr Kagame joined millions of Arsenal fans who vented their frustration saying, Gunners’ fans deserve better than what they got, suggesting that time for change at the club has come. “What?? It’s football, it’s a loss of Arsenal at/to Brentford.

Brentford deserved to win and they did. The game itself aside Arsenal and the fans don’t deserve to kind of get used to this….NO !!! I say this as one of the big fans of Arsenal. The change has taken too long to come!” wrote President Kagame.

He further added cryptically that the funs and the club should not accept mediocrity by any means given the stature of the London side.

“We just must NOT excuse or Accept mediocrity. A team has to be built with purpose to win win win. So that when we lose….it was not to be expected! I am sure we all know on whose shoulders the heaviest burden rests. I hope they know too or even accept it!!! End,” he wrote.

Rwanda as a country is one of the sponsors of Arsenal with ‘Visit Rwanda’ campaign on the club’s shirts a deal that is believed to in millions of pounds.
