A self styled electrician identified as Yaw Aputu believed to be in his 30s has been electrocuted at Kwame Baah Krom(community) near Assin North Municipality of the Central Region.
According to the report gathered by Filasconews.com, the deceased Yaw, was a professional mason and hails from Assin Adubiase in the Assin South of the Central Region but was hired to work as an electrician to wire a Mosque at Kwame Baah Krom (community) near Kwame Ankrah community.
Unfortunately, he was electrocuted in the process of transferring the power from the electricity high tension to the mosque.
His body has been removed from the pole by Assin Fosu ECG staff with the support of the Police and deposited at the morgue for autopsy and preservation.
The police have also commenced investigation into the matter.
Meanwhile, ECG in Assin has warned self styled electricians to desist from going nearer to ECG materials.
