It has been a year since Samantha Lee and actor-singer Tyrese Gibson separated. Now, Samantha Lee has given her take on her reunion with the latter.

During one recent podcast, when asked if she would consider reconciliation with Tyrese, Samantha was candid. Her words were cautious, yet pretty clear: only on reconsideration of the terms and conditions to be at her benefit.

Samantha spoke to her deep respect for Tyrese Gibson and how special the bond was between them during a time when they were together. “I always remember what we had,” she said, looking back. On the other hand, she declared chaste that the divorcing of someone when children are around is difficult.

She continued to say how painful their separation was and how “nobody wants to divorce their partner,” particularly under the circumstances in which they were. Samantha decided to leave at one of the worst moments in Tyrese’s life, where he faced the demise of his mother, brother, and a close friend. Yet, she did not stop herself and continued with the divorce until it reached a settlement where she took a big chunk of his assets.

As Samantha’s comments allude to, while there is a chance for them to get back together, such a reunion would have to be on her terms. Since the podcast aired, much has been speculated about what that could possibly mean and whether Tyrese would be willing to meet such requirements.
