The Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Malaysia-Singapore Chapter, Comrade Osei Ken, has vehemently warns against any attempts by the Chief of Staff to suspend or dismiss Sammy Gyamfi.
According to him, such move would precipitate an unbridled backlash from the grassroots, posing an existential threat to the government’s stability.
He added that, the NDC ought to recall the egregious injustice meted out to Sam George and fellow comrades during the Ayawaso West Wuogon incident, where despite a commission of enquiry’s damning findings, no meaningful action was taken.
The NDC Malaysia -Singapore Chapter questions the motive behind targeting Sammy Gyamfi over an alleged misuse of $800, especially when compared to the NPP’s purported largescale corruption.
The Chapter asserts that any attempt to unfairly sanction Sammy Gyamfi would be met with fierce resistance, cautioning the government against underestimating the party’s resolve.
“The party’s unwavering commitment to justice and accountability is underscored by its readiness to defend its members against perceived persecution.”he reiterated
