Seth Frimpong didn’t die from coronavirus – Diana Asamoah

With the COVID-19 outbreak rampaging the world, most Ghanaians have become quite skeptical about the cause of deaths and medical conditions of others. And the death of musician Prophet Seth Frimpong has been treated with the same suspicion.

Speaking in an interview on Happy98.9FM’s ‘Showbiz Xtra’ with Doctar Cann, award-winning Ghanaian gospel musician and close friend of the deceased, Evangelist Diana Asamoah stated clearly that the late Prophet Seth Frimpong did not die from COVID-19.

She said, “No one should say COVID-19 killed Prophet Seth Frimpong. He was a diabetic and that was what killed him.”

According to her, ‘Osofo Seth’s’ love for God was so immense that nothing could draw him away from God, not even his condition. “He had gone on a fast regardless of his condition. I didn’t think it wise for him to even fast with such a condition. But when God takes over your life, you disregard a lot of things.”

Seth did not die of COVID-19. He died of diabetes, the evangelist reiterated.

Diana Asamoah described the late Prophet Seth Frimpong as a man who loved the Lord and did not allow any condition he suffered to prevent him from serving Him. “He has really suffered and God will surely be with him.” She noted that Osofo Seth will always remain in her heart.

Ghanaian gospel musician, Prophet Seth Frimpong passed away in the early hours of Friday, April 24, 2020. The musician nicknamed the dancing prophet announced his presence in the music scene in 2000 and graced Ghana with the albums ’Ade A Nyame Aka’, ‘Engosi Aga’ and ‘Mehuri So’.
