In a discussion between Shaun and Wanni, the two actually shared some of the things they dislike and would wish they both correct. Wanni first went to Shaun to talk about how he’s been reserved toward her.

It was then the Shaun voiced out over growing distrust he has built against her. In a candid conversation, Shaun shared with Wanni that he does not feel comfortable with the way she would always share everything they discuss between them alone with her sister, Handi.

This, Shaun said, made him oftentimes shrink from opening up and delving into deeper conversations with Wanni.

Shaun told Wanni, “I feel like I can’t trust you, because everything I tell you, you go and relate it back to Handi.” Shaun further said that he feels that it’s very awkward and unsettling; because of that, he has been holding back with her.

Wanni looked caught off guard by Shaun’s concerns and said that she did not know it bothered him. She reassured Shaun that since she knows how he feels about it, she would be considerate of what she shares with her sister and work on earning his trust.

But that was not all: Shaun shared another problem that has been nagging him-drinking habits of Wanni. He further elaborated that it is her behaviour when she is drunk that makes him feel uneasy; it triggers his PTSD and further strains the relationship.

While these issues are being ironed out between the two housemates, it is yet to be seen what changes their dynamics will undergo or whether these two can ever regain their lost trust. The onus, in light of Shaun’s misgivings, would fall upon the way Wanni shapes her behaviour.
