‘Shine your eyes’ and don’t buy NAM 1’s plots – Exploited Menzgold customers warn colleagues

Leadership of the Coalition of Aggrieved Customers of Menzgold( CACM) has warned its members against patronizing plots of land being put on sale by Nana Appian Mensah(NAM 1), the Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of the defunct Menzgold Company Limited.

The aggrieved customers, who have been doing everything possible under the Sun to get their deposits paid to them following the collapse of Menzgold two years ago, have strenuously warned against the patronage of the plots, which NAM 1 says will be sold preferentially to them.

In a statement issued on Friday September 18, 2020 and signed by its leadership, members have been forbidden for falling for yet another scam cooked by NAM 1 yet again.

“We urge customers to disregard such calls [ to purchase the plots of land] and not fall for this scam for the fourth time from Nam 1/ Menzgold since customers have been subjected to such schemes by the same person,” the statement said.

The customers wandered why NAM 1 has been allowed by government to continue to cook schemes aimed at defrauding persons who are already suffering from his previous scams.

“We do not understand why government of Ghana would allow this gentleman/company to keep on breeding such questionable schemes every now and then to scam already suffocating customers?” They wondered.

On 12th September 2020, NAM 1 announced a plan to undertake a housing project, dubbed Zallywood” by developing some 500 acted of land in the Greater Accra Region. Aggrieved customers were encouraged to buy the plots at a good price.

But CACM has kicked against the move, describing as another scheme to scam them.
