‘Sick’ Angel Obinim to reappear before court on June 1

Founder and Leader of International God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim has been arrested and charged with the publication of fake news and forgery of documents.

Bishop Daniel Obinim was reported to the Police CID by maverick politician, Kennedy Agyapong for engaging in forgery and publishing of fake news.

Speaking to his arrest and subsequent bail, the Police in a statement said the Man of God popularly known as Angel Obinim was arrested on Tuesday after a warrant was issued by court.

The statement indicated that Obinim was taken to a Magistrate Court where he was granted bail to the tune of GHC 100,000 with 3 sureties.

The Angel is expected to reappear in court June 1, 2020.

The Police however, asked the public to disregard the video circulating on social media as it has no bearing on the issue at hand.
