Sky Dream Academy, in Collaboration with IYF, Launches Second Batch of Trainees with Inspiring Orientation Ceremony

In a vibrant and hopeful atmosphere, the Sky Dream Skills Training Academy, in collaboration with the International Youth Fellowship (IYF), launched its second batch of trainees through a colorful orientation ceremony held at the Academy’s training facility. This marks the continuation of the Academy’s transformative program aimed at equipping youth with practical skills, a growth mindset, and moral values for future success.

The new cohort embarks on a comprehensive two-month program that blends vocational training with character development — a proven model that produced outstanding results in the Academy’s first batch.

Welcoming the new trainees, Dr. David Oh, Country Director of IYF and Sky Dream, highlighted the life-changing potential of the program.

> “This is not just about gaining skills. Our goal is to help these young people develop the right mindset, discipline, and vision for their lives,” he said. “When the mind changes, everything changes. That is the foundation of true success.”

With a focus on employability and entrepreneurship, trainees will receive hands-on training in a wide range of fields including household chemical production, ICT and graphic design, floral decoration, pastries, electricals, fashion design, and language proficiency in Korean and French.

A signature component of the program is the Mind Education curriculum, developed through IYF’s global experience in youth empowerment. These sessions are designed to foster inner strength, positive thinking, and resilience among participants.

Dr. Oh further emphasized the long-term impact of mindset transformation:

> “Many of the challenges young people face today are rooted in the mind — low self-esteem, lack of direction, hopelessness. Through this program, we help them discover that their value is not based on circumstance, but on the strength of their heart.”

Several new trainees expressed their excitement and gratitude for the opportunity.

> “I came here to learn graphic design, but what I’m receiving is much more than skill. I’m learning how to believe in myself,” said one student.
Another trainee shared,
“I want to start my own pastry business one day. This training is giving me the tools — and the confidence — to make that dream real.”

The program’s blend of skill development and personal growth aims not just at individual transformation, but at creating community impact.

> “These trainees are the seeds of change,” said the Program Coordinator. “We’re not only raising skilled individuals, but responsible leaders who will go back and influence their families, peers, and entire communities.”

As the ceremony drew to a close with smiles, laughter, and a renewed sense of purpose, the message was clear: the Sky Dream–IYF partnership is not just building careers, but transforming lives.

With the successful launch of its second batch, the Sky Dream Skills Training Academy, under the visionary leadership of Dr. David Oh, remains committed to shaping a generation of empowered, purpose-driven changemakers.
