Suspected fake Soldier arrested with “gun”, Army camouflage 0

A suspected fake soldier identified as one Madukwe obinna has been nabbed in Enugu by the security operatives of the Nigerian Army Enugu.

He was nabbed by the operatives on 26/11/19 at opi axis of the state and later handed over to the Enugu state police command for discreet investigations on the alleged nefarious activities of the suspect.

In a press release signed by Enugu State Police PRO SP Amaraizu Ebere and made available to POLISONLINE it was gathered that the suspect who is said to be living at mpape in Abuja and a native of ekoli imenyi in Bende local government area of Abia state was nabbed with a suspected toy gun, jackknife, suspected military stickers/emblems,camouflage jackets as well as suspected military Identification card amongst others.

“Suspect is now helping the operatives in their investigations and pointing out that there was never a time he became a soldier and that he usually wear the military uniform to deceive members of the public, he further maintained that he gets his uniform from mammy market inside Mogadishu military cantonment in Abuja”.

According to the statement “Suspect also revealed that he used to be a student of Nigeria army school of technology and environmental studies markurdi where he was expelled in 2015 over over an alleged exam malpractice related issues before joining pearls group of school mpape as a part time teacher in computer”.

“He further that he is not a soldier but the quest to portray him as one landed him in hot soup and however expressed regret over the incident”.

The state commissioner of police Ahmad Abdurrahman has directed for a full scale investigations in relation to his alleged nefarious activities.
