Teamwork of Africa Power wins best southern traditional group award

Popular Ghanaian traditional cultural group named Teamwork of Africa Power has added another award to their catalogue as they won the best traditional group from the southern part of Ghana at the just ended northern Ghana awards.

The cultural group which happens to be the only group from the south that was invited to perform at this year’s edition of the awards were grateful to the organizers for awarding them.

In a thanksgiving speech after winning the award, the lead dancer Evans Twieku said that they have won many awards in the southern part but for them to be rewarded in the north is a big thing.

Stephen Donkor who is also a member of the group said the northern region is the home of traditional music and entertainment so for them to be awarded in the north means a lot to them.
