The Women Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Techiman North Constituency, Madam Lawrencia Owusu, popularly known as Mama Law, has made a generous donation to two orphanages in the Bono East Region on behalf of Mrs. Christiana Agyapong, wife of NPP flagbearer hopeful, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong.
The donation exercise, which took place on Sunday, November 9, 2025, saw Mama Law presenting assorted bags of rice, drinks, toiletries, biscuits, and an undisclosed amount of money to the Faith and Charity Foundation Children’s Home at Aworowa in the Techiman North District, and the Frankmay New Life Foundation in the Techiman South Municipality.
Speaking during the presentation, Madam Lawrencia Owusu said the gesture was inspired by Mrs. Agyapong’s commitment to supporting underprivileged children and giving back to society. She disclosed that the act was a reflection of the Agyapong family’s compassion and long-standing dedication to social welfare.
According to her, although this is not the first time the Agyapong family has donated to orphanages, it is the first of its kind in the Bono East region for the wife of a flagbearer hopeful to visit the women’s wing and make a donation to orphanages.
“This is the first time in the history of our party that the wife of a flagbearer hopeful has visited us in this region. She did not only visit the women’s wing of the party but also extended her kindness to orphanages in the region.
“Her reason for this donation is to bring smiles to the faces of children in the orphanages across our region. Although this is her first donation of this kind here, it is not the first time she and her husband have supported orphanages in other parts of the country.”

Mama Law further disclosed that the benevolent gesture by Mrs. Christiana Agyapong will not be the last in the region.
“This will not be the last. On behalf of Mrs. Christiana Agyapong, we will continue to engage with this and other orphanages in the region to find the best ways to support them.”
At the Frankmay New Life Foundation, one of the beneficiaries, Gideon, on behalf of the Foundation express their profound gratitude, saying “I am one of the children from this orphanage. Through the numerous donations from kind and goodwill people in the community, we have been doing well. I am also one of the children who has been able to complete tertiary education, and for that, we are very grateful.”
He prayed for long life and prosperity for Mrs. Christiana Agyapong and her husband, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, and asked that the Almighty God grant all their heart’s desires.

“We are especially grateful for this donation made by Madam Lawrencia Owusu on behalf of Mrs. Christiana Agyapong. These items have come at the right time, and we truly appreciate them. We pray for long life, good health, and prosperity for Mrs. Christiana Agyapong and her husband, and we ask that God grant them the desires of their hearts.
The manager of the Faith and Charity Foundation Children’s Home, on his part, expressed his heartfelt appreciation to Mrs. Agyapong and the NPP Women’s Organizer for the thoughtful donation, noting that it came at a crucial time to support the upkeep and well-being of the children.
“We are very pleased to receive this donation on behalf of Mrs. Christiana Agyapong from Madam Lawrencia Owusu, the NPP Women’s Organizer for Techiman North. We pray that God replenishes her and grants all her heart’s desires.
