The High Court issued an arrest warrant for Sedina Tamakloe Attionu, the former CEO of MASLOC. Attionu is facing charges of causing financial loss to the state and will be arrested if found. The warrant was issued after she failed to appear in court for her trial.
The Criminal Division of the High Court in Accra presided over by Justice Lydia Osei Marfo has issued an arrest warrant for convicted MASLOC boss, Sedinam Tamakloe Attionu.
The order follows a request by the Prosecution led by an Assistant State Attorney, Yvonne Yaache-Adomako to secure an arrest warrant for Sedina Tamakloe who is not in the country to serve her 10-year-jail term in hard labour.

The former CEO of the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC) was on April 16, 2024 convicted and sentenced to 10 years in prison together with former head of operations who was also slapped with a 5 year jail term after they were found guilty on 78 counts of causing a 90 million financial loss to the state.
However, Sedinam Tamakloe’s jail term is still pending as she was tried and convicted in absentia after she refused to return to the country when she was granted permission to seek medical care in 2021.
The Prosecution while praying the court to grant their request said they have demonstrated sufficient grounds for the issuance of the arrest warrant.
