The Hypocrisy of Godfred Dame: A Rebuttal to His Baseless Accusations

The recent assertions made by Godfred Yeboah Dame, the former Attorney General and Minister of Justice, are utterly preposterous and bereft of merit. Infact , his accusation that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) deliberately discontinued high-profile criminal cases to exonerate its officials is astounding. This claim is not only spurious but also reeks of hypocrisy, given Dame’s own questionable track record.

Dame’s complicity in the alleged manipulation of the justice system, particularly in the case involving the current Finance Minister, is a matter of public record.

Undoubtedly, his propensity for influencing court outcomes has been widely reported, rendering his criticisms utterly devoid of credibility. The stark reality is that Dame’s actions were often seen as politically motivated, which undermines his moral authority to question the decisions of others.

The imperative to emphasize Dame’s lack of integrity and impartiality cannot be overstated. Dame’s tenure as Attorney General was marred by controversy, and his fitness for office was repeatedly called into question.

In light of these facts, Dame’s attempts to challenge the decisions made by the current Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Dr. Dominic Ayine, are nothing short of risible.

Dame’s credibility is woefully lacking, and his opinions on matters of justice and accountability should be treated with the disdain they deserve. Dame’s legacy is one of politicization and manipulation of the justice system, which has undermined the rule of law in Ghana.
