The Money Is Married This Season, So the Married Couple Should Entertain – Kimmy claims

Reality TV shows enthusiast Kimmy  from a critical perspective had not stopped calling out the fans who say the prize money for Big Brother Naija Season 9 is “married,” implying that it should be left for married couples, Kassia and Kellyrae in the house to work for it.  .

In a thread of tweets, Kimmy called out fans who support Kassia and Kellyrae but complain that the show has gotten boring. “You can’t say the money is married and then support housemates who are doing nothing deserving of it,” Kimmy said.

Her comments come after growing discontent by viewers who have been voting to keep housemates in the game despite them failing to provide any exciting content.

Kimmy noted the irony whereby people claiming the show was boring were those very people voting out the more dynamic and entertaining contestants like Ruthie and Chinwe, thus leaving the house less exciting.

Kimmy’s comments have resulted in an online debate, and many have jumped onto the bandwagon to agree that if the prize is truly meant for a married couple, then Kassia and Kellyrae will really have to try harder and bring more into the room. And the debate spilled over with fan voting, reminding them that it was from their hands the entertainment value was coming from.
