THE PUBLIC CHARGE TO DESIST FROM SELF-MEDICATION

 

 

Dr. Samuel Nsobila, a medical scenographer at Dosonic Hospital at Pakyi No. 2 in the Amansie West District of Ashanti Region has called on the public to refrain from self-medication and embrace regular health screening to ensure healthy living.

He made this statement when the Ghana Electrical Contractors Association, the Ashanti chapter organized a health screening program for their members at Asafo to ensure their healthy well-being.

The side of the Chairman for the association, Mr. Divine Osei Mintah said, they’ve been working all the time without checking for their health issues.

Hence, they took this opportunity to organize the health screening program to enhance their access the free health screening.

He further charged the general public to embrace regular health screening, especially the men as they normally care about their families without giving equal care to themselves in terms of health care.

Some of the association’s members who benefited from the screening expressed their appreciation to the executives of the association for organizing such a program for the well-being of their members.
