The UCC BRETHREN GROUP DONATED RELIEF ITEMS TO FLOOD VICTIMS IN SOUTH DAYI CONSTITUENCY

 

On Saturday 4th November, 2023, the UCC BRETHRENS’ GROUP donated relief items to MP Dafeamekpor to support the flood victims in South Dayi Constituency in the Volta region.

 

The presentations were done immediately after the visitors led by the South Dayi legislator, took a quick tour on the Volta lake in Tongor-Dzemeni where the flood has displaced hundreds of inhabitants including women & schoolchildren.

 

The group also made donations of some relief items to the people of Asuogyaman which items were received in Akosombo by the Hon Ampem Nyarko, the MP for Asuogyaman Constituency.

 

“My Chiefs, elders, myself & the entire South Dayi community extends their gratitude to the (donors) for coming to support, may God richly bless you- Lawyer Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor said.

 

The UCC BRETHREN, is actually a philanthropic group of some great professionals both here in Ghana and abroad who were former students of the University of Cape Coast who have decided to engage in Community Engagement, improvement and interventions by assisting people in distress.

The UCC BRETHRENS’ GROUP actually has a Constitution and a EY of Guidelines for their philanthropic and social welfare activities. The group has done similar donations to other entities and individuals in the past.

 

On Saturday, the Group was led by Eugene Okae, Shasha Adomako, Pinto, Sam Ato, Larose, and George to make the donations to the Chiefs and Elders, the MP for South Dayi and Assembly men of the Electoral Area
