Think about yourself, your wellbeing and your warfare first before voting — Queen advices youth as elections approach.
The Dabehemaa of Sekyedumasi in the Ashanti Region, Nana Serwaa Nyarkoh II, has advised Ghanaians especially the youth to think about themselves and their warfare first before voting.
In an interview with the media during her Enstoolment as the Dabehemaa of Sekyedumasi this weekend, she expressed much concern about how some youth engage themselves in electoral violence for political interest instead of thinking about themselves and their wellbeing.
“Why do you have to fight to the extend of shedding blood for someone who doesn’t even care about your wellbeing as a Ghanaian?” She Rhetorically asked.
“Voting is our right but it is also our right to consider our welfare and wellbeing because nobody thinks about you more than yourself” Nana Serwaa added.
Nana Serwaa Nyarkoh II, ended by appealing to political leaders to do clean campaign and also stop using the Ghanaian youth especially the ladies for their political gains.
