General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Prosper Harrison Addo Esq. has revealed that the federation will for the first time make public their annual financial statement.
This account rendering exercise will be done via the GFA’s official website, ghanafa.org.
Several critics of the Ghana FA have questioned why there seems to be no openness or transparency as regards the financial dealings of the country’s football governing body.
In an interview with Accra based radio station, Angel 102.9 FM, Prosper Harrison Addo has revealed this practise will now be a thing of the past as the new leadership is keen on winning back following and love for the game.
He believes being open is one way to do this.
“I can assure you that at the end of the accounting year, we will publish the accounts of the FA on the website for everyone to read” the GFA General Secretary told Accra-based Angel 102.9 FM.
