TV presenter Bridget Otoo insists NAM1 runs Ponzi Scheme

A television personality in Ghana, Bridget Otoo, thinks Nana Appiah Mensah, Menzgold boss, runs a Ponzi Scheme.

According to her, though some Menzgold customers have fallen for the ‘soothing’ words of the Zylofon Media and Menzgold Chief Executive Officer in the speech he presented to the media at MJ Grand Hotel in Accra after his arrest in Dubai, she believes otherwise.

NAM1 in his speech asked the Government of Ghana to unfreeze his company and personal accounts to help him pay customers after he won a court case in Dubai, in a gold deal that went wrong.

According to him, he cannot debit or credit any bank account if he isn’t declared free until proven guilty.

He again asked customers to remain calm as he is willing to pay back every penny and again bounce back into the entertainment space globally.

But, Bridget reacting to this, said she cannot fathom why Mr Mensah would ask the government “to assist a private businessman in retrieving money in a private business deal.”

When a fan commented, “I still can’t think far. He’s so positive about a bigly comeback. hard guy,” Bridget riposted, “That’s how he must sound for those he was trying to convince! This was for his customers.”

NAM1 eventually won his Dubai case and flew down to Ghana to pay back his customers but he was arrested and put before court and was later bailed.

His speech, some people said, had calmed down the nerves of some of the distressed customers and some are hoping that they will soon receive funds invested. Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale were part of celebrities who lauded him after the conference.
