Ugandan Lawyer fatally shot outside home

In a tragic incident, a 45-year-old Ugandan lawyer, Ronald Mukisa, was fatally shot in the central Wakiso region, located northwest of the capital city Kampala.

According to BBC.Com report, the incident occurred on Tuesday night when Mukisa was arriving at his residence.

Luke Owoyesigyire, the deputy spokesperson for the Kampala police, stated that witnesses heard gunshots as Mukisa, who works in the capital, was parking his car around 11:00 PM local time. An unidentified assailant fired multiple shots at him before swiftly fleeing the scene on a waiting motorcycle.

The police have called upon the public to come forward with any pertinent information that may aid in their investigation of this distressing incident.

This tragic event takes place amidst a concerning rise in gun violence across the country, raising further alarm among the Ugandan populace.

As authorities delve deeper into their investigation, the community remains shocked and saddened by the loss of Ronald Mukisa, a respected member of the legal profession.
