A Ugandan Minister has been shot and killed by his bodyguard.
Retired Col Charles Okello Engola, the deputy minister for labour was shot at his home in the capital, Kampala, on Tuesday morning, BBC.com reports.
The bodyguard who is yet to be officially identified is reported to have shot his boss after which he walked the neighbourhood shooting in the air, then shot himself dead minutes later.
Reports also added that a number of people were injured in the incident.
Col Engola had previously served as a deputy minister for defence.
