Renowned UK-based Ghanaian-British criminologist and media mogul Sidney Washington Daniels, popularly known as “Suge Knight UK” has urged Shatta Wale, Kevin Taylor, Kennedy Agyapong,Twene Jonas, A Plus and other influential personalities in Ghana to lead a positive demonstration addressing the severe economic hardships affecting the country.
He said in an interview with Blogger and Journalist Attractive Mustapha that , The positive protest he’s pushing the big shots in Ghana to get involved in is all about making sure nothing gets wrecked while they get their message across through the protest.
In a passionate call to action, Sidney Washington Daniels, speaking from his base in the United Kingdom, highlighted the ongoing protests in Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, and Zimbabwe, where citizens are demanding better living conditions and economic reforms.
He emphasized that Ghana should follow suit, as the current economic climate is increasingly unfavorable to the poor.
“The situation in Ghana is dire, and it is time for influential figures like Shatta Wale to step up and lead a movement for change. The economy is not just impacting those at home but also Ghanaians living abroad,” Sidney Washington Daniels stated.
He further elaborated that despite residing in the UK, the economic difficulties in Ghana are affecting him and many others in the diaspora. “Many people back home especially Western Region where I come from and been supporting my region turn to some of us abroad for support, putting immense pressure on us. It’s a collective struggle that we all need to address,” he added.
Sidney Washington Daniels’ call to action comes at a time when economic disparities are becoming more pronounced, and the voices of the masses are growing louder across the African continent.
He believes that a united front led by prominent personalities could drive the necessary change in Ghana.
