VEEP Lordina: You’re a ‘foolish’ wife of a thief – NDC lady replies Ama Dokua Bissue

An activist of the opposition National Democratic Congress  (NDC) has replied Deputy Information Minister, Nana Ama Dokua Asiamah-Adjei for accusing former President John Mahama of having made his wife, Lordina Mahama, the Vice President and subsequently his running mate when he was President of Ghana.

According to Nhyira Dadzie who also calls herself “Mahamaba”, Ama Dokua is the wife of a thief.

“See this wife of a thief too Folish woman”, she jabbed.

Presidential staffer, Charles Bissue found love in Deputy Information Minister, Nana Ama Dokua. The two have tied the nuptial knot at a private ceremony on September 9, 2019.

Mr. Bissue resigned earlier this year as Secretary to the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Illegal Mining after a documentary by ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas implicated him in a bribery scandal.

Background

MyNewsGh.com reported days ago that Ama Dokua said by reason of the power wielded by former First Lady, Lordina Mahama, she was the Vice President indeed while the real Vice President was just there by name since he wielded no power.

“When your wife becomes your defacto Veep and running mate, then you just hit an unbreakable record of nepotistic Government. The record is all yours. The alternative is absolutely empty,” he alleged in a post sighted by MyNewsGh.com.

Her comments come on the back of accusations by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is the most nepotistic government in Ghana’s history given that, for now, President Akufo-Addo has at 51 relatives appointed by him in his government.

The NPP has however dismissed the charge, arguing that even if the numbers were even true, all the appointees are well qualified to serve.

NDC activists have since being verbally assaulting her for her comments.
