What the housemates termed “speed dating” saw Victoria Uvo, ever the reserved lady, open up to a fellow housemate, Onyeka, and share the sad reason for her quiet nature: she had been sexually abused.

Victoria opened up about her past experience of being sexually abused, explaining how it has led her to put up emotional walls, especially around men.

She shared that this experience has led her to have emotional guards because most men sexualize her, hence making it hard for her to make close connections.

Despite these challenges, Victoria expressed her determination to grow and learn more about herself through her time in the house. She, therefore, expects to overcome the fears that have held her back and to get out of her comfort zone since she feels that is basic to her healing procedure.

Victoria shared that she is beginning to open up to the other housemates and is fully embracing the experience of living in the Big Brother house. She conveyed her determination to challenge herself and grow during her time on the show.
