A 25 year old suspected thief, identified as Awal has been beaten to pulp by the angry youth at Nkawie in the Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipality of the Ashanti Region.
The incident happened on Monday, 28th of November,2022.
He was stripped na_ked by the angry youth and was nearly lynched.
A resident and eye witness who only gave his name as “Odende” speaking to Filasconews.com said, the suspect allegedly stole items including clothes, money, shoes and other things belonging to someone in the area.
He was chased and caught after his operation and was subsequently beaten mercilessly by the youth.
The video circulating online captures the na_ked body of the suspected thief lying on the ground while the youth tie his legs with his cloth to prevent him from running.
