The president of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo is alleged to have flout the ban on public gathering after a video of him celebrating his birthday with over tens of people pops up on social
The president instituted a ban on all social gatherings some weeks ago to help curb the rapid spread of the novel coronavirus disease in Ghana
The ban included the closure of churches, mosques, schools and funerals to be observed by not more than twenty-five(25) people
In the video making rounds on social media, it is reported that, a church service was held in honor of the President earlier today as he marks his 76th birthday
Many comments has since trooped in concerning the video, with some siding with the president’s celebration and others against it
