For a few days now, the news of a popular actress, filmmaker, and show host, Mercy Johnson having a cancer scare has been flooding online, with many who misunderstood the video clip she did to be that she has cancer.

Many have called to sympathize with her, while others extended theirs through social media comments.

In all this, Mercy Johnson has cleared the air few hours ago on her Instagram page.

She revealed that she does not have cancer as people thought. She thanked everyone for their calls and messages, and said that she did not have any form of cancer. She stated that she had simply a cancer scare and a bulge around her thyroid.

In her clarification video, she stated that the doctors believed it might be serious, but she is okay and fine. Furthermore, Mercy stated that she observed that the snippet from her cooking show was utterly misconstrued, and she advised.
