BBMzansi Star Mfanele “Jareed” Nduku popularly known as Jareed, during a podcast talk with Yolanda Monyai, the host, explains how he had to leave behind his successful career as an established Engineer earning hundreds of thousands of rands for a chance at reality TV stardom.

He explained to Yolanda the risks he took and the opportunities he hopes to gain from being on the show into consideration before getting into the house.

The 24-year-old discusses the challenges he faced in making the decision to leave a high-paying job for a reality TV opportunity, highlighting the personal growth and fulfilment he has experienced since taking the leap. He also shares his excitement for the new chapter in his life and encourages others to pursue their passions fearlessly.

During the interview, the host asked about his parents reactions to his decision. Jareed, in his response said he didn’t tell them anything, he just lied to the mom that he was going to visit a friend and come only to end up at Biggie’s house.

In the initial 5 minutes, he discussed his departure for something he didn’t know about, claiming that if he had told his mom, she would have criticized or stopped him. Unlike the job he was doing and the renowned company he’s having the opportunity to work for, and how lucrative that was, her mom wouldn’t have allowed reason he didn’t tell her.
