A 9 month old baby, Miriam Mohammed has died.
The dead body of the innocent baby girl was discovered today in a fish pond at Asanko-Bremang in the Amenfi West Municipality of the Western Region.
Narrating the incident to Filasconews.com, eye witness Bright Agyemfra said, Miriam(now deceased) went missing two days ago in the community.
A complain was official lodged at the Asanko Police.
All efforts to locating the whereabouts of the baby girl by the family with the support of the neighbours proved futile.
Sadly, her lifeless body was discovered submerged in a fish at Asanko-Bremang.
The body has been conveyed by the police and deposited at the Asanko Government Hospital’s morgue for autopsy and preservation.
The police have also commenced investigation into the matter.
The father of the deceased, Mr. Ali Mohammed says his heart is broken as Miriam was his only child.
