One of Ghana’s vocal political commentators and avowed critic of politicians, Professor Edward Ransford Yaw Gyampo is reported to have fled the country ahead of the premiering of the ‘sex for grades’ scandal that has hit prominent West African Universities.
The hitherto active social media user and Lecturer with the Political Science Department of the University of Ghana, has gone silent on Facebook with his last post sighted on September 22, 2019; suggesting he got wind and stayed off to avoid bashing.
The avid professor who recently criticized Senyo Hosi, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Chamber of bulk oil distributors over the University of Ghana’s 70th anniversary preparations, is seen in the video by the BBC Africa Eye’s Kiki Mordi displaying his promiscuous tendencies.
Sources available to MyNewsGh.com indicate when news of the video surfaced on social media, he tried running for cover by pleading with some influential people in society to intercede that the evidence does not blow up.
But when this failed, he was reported to have unceremoniously fled the country amidst adverts of the video that will be premiered on Monday, October 7, 2019
A teaser of the video saw a randy Professor known to be morally upright and married, begging to kiss his ‘prey’ at the Accra Mall where they met.
He is also seen in the video proposing marriage to the lady in question.
Meanwhile, he has threatened a lawsuit against the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC)
