The sight of King Promise, Gyakie, and Efia Odo reacting to Shatta Wale’s ‘Shatta City’ at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards was simply stunning. It wasn’t only Shatta City, but other songs by Wale were played, and they received the same energy from his colleagues and the fans.

The three people were visibly overjoyed the moment Shatta Wale’s ‘Shatta City’ was played by the DJ, with King Promise even dancing along to the catchy tune.

Their positive reactions added to the excitement of the event and showcased their support for fellow Ghanaian musicians, especially Shatta Wale. The African Dancehall King, Shatta Wale, wasn’t at the awards night but his songs obviously presented him.

There is no major event, or award that will go on without playing Shatta Wale’s songs. His songs give the crowd a boost, not just to the people but to the show itself. Every fan couldn’t sit but stood up to dance to it.

The ‘My Level’ hitmaker has been suspended from the show for a long time. And when the ban was lifted, he decided not to go back again. He was suspended alongside Stonebwoy but he went back to being the guy who wants to win the most accolades when it comes to Ghanaian music.
