The Residents at Ohwim Hwidiem in Ohwim Amanfuom Electoral Area in the Bantama Constituency of Ashanti Region are appealing to the Government, their member of Parliament, Hon Francis Asenso Boakye, their Assembly member, Hon Erustus Ebo Boison, and the Electricity Company Of Ghana and other authorities to come to their aid to solve the electrification challenges in the area.

According to the residents, they lack so many developmental projects in the area and these include poor security, poor road networks and the most dangerous thing in the area is the collapsing Light Poll that can bring immediate disaster to the community.

Speaking with the media, they said their problems have been reported to the authorities especially their Assembly Member, Hon Erustus Ebo Boison but the problems are unsolved.

They therefore calling the Electricity Company Of Ghana to immediately come and disconnect the electricity power in that area if they are not ready to repair the Poll for them to avoid any disaster.

Additionally, the most painful thing according to them is that the Assembly member, Hon Ebo has placed his poster on the collapsing Light Poll that can bring immediate disaster to the people in the community, asking for the people to vote for him in the upcoming district-level elections.

They are not going to vote for him if this problem is not solved.
