Aspiring Presidential candidate of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Joe Ghartey, has stated that innovation and entrepreneurship have the potential to transform Ghana’s economy for the better.
He has therefore hailed the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) Enterprise and Innovation Centre, which he strongly believes has the ability to positively contribute to the economic advancement of Ghana.
According to the experienced Member of Parliament (MP) for Essikado-Ketan Constituency, the UPSA Enterprise and Innovation Centre “…is a model that can transform the nation and the youth into job creators rather job seekers.”

The UPSA Enterprise and Innovation Centre (UEIC) i targets young entrepreneurs with vital practical experience to set them up to run their own student businesses.
