Award-winning Africa’s Rap Goddess, Eno Barony says it is impossible for her to sign other female rappers in an attempt to bring them to the limelight.
According to her, though she has the responsibility of helping other female musicians, she does not have the capacity to sign them because she is not a record label manager.
“I’m not the only female rapper in the country. I have seen a lot of them; the best I can do is to offer them my platform to promote them which I do, and I’m not in the position to. I’m not a record label manager”. Eno Barony said in an interview with Asempa FM.
“People think when you get the fame when you get the name; you have to also carry somebody on yourself to bring up. No, I don’t have that capability” she added.
Eno further revealed that “On my last album, I put five female rappers on it and anytime I hear of a female rapper I do my best to support. I can’t put everything in the public domain but I’m doing my best”.
