There are numerous sleeping positions available. People are asked to sleep on any side depending on the one they feel comfortable. But then there are some sleeping positions that may make you feel pain when you wake up, so for that reason, try as much as possible to sleep in a healthy way to avoid getting up the morning feeling weak.

Why Should You Sleep On The Side With Pillow Between Your Two Legs?

According to research, sleeping on the side with pillow in between your two legs is very good because the pillow between your legs will keep the hips, pelvis and spine in better alignment thus reducing your chances of feeling pain at all when you get up the morning.

While sleeping in this position, ensure you allow your right or left shoulder to make contact with the mattress, alongside the rest of that side of the body. Then you place a pillow between your knees, sleeping on the side alone wouldn’t cause any difference but the pillow placed between your legs is what causes the difference.

If you are sleeping in this position, make sure you don’t sleep on the same side every night as doing this may cause muscle imbalance and even scoliosis.
