Women will constitute 65% in Parliament & 80% in ministers & heads of government institutions when I become president

Action Alliance Party believes women are the bedrock of every society just as the youth are the engine of the same society and nation. Its high time we developed the youth and gave equal if not more opportunities for women to develop their talents and determine what their future should be.

It is high time we shun the idea of allowing old people nearing their graves to determine the future of the younger generations.

It is a fundamental policy of the AAP to make sure that the place of women are secured in our society through our government. It is the focus of the AAP to make sure women feature prominently in our government thus translating to society.

It is no secret that society progresses quite steadily when women lead. There are historical and present examples to support this claim. Eg. Queen of Sheba and empress of Ethiopia. Today, Rwanda has made progress after a genocide because it has made a conscious decision to allow more than 50% of women to lead in its Parliament etc

Taking into consideration the Historical background of Ghana, women have proven to be most industrious in the market and have also proven to be very successful and great farmers.

It is the reason why my party has decided to focus on the very core talent, blessing of Ghana I.e agriculture giving priority to women before the other blessings in the form of mineral resources, oil etc

On this note, I want to remind the gallant women in Ghana to look to a better and brighter future with the Action Alliance Party and also celebrate them in this month of march reserved for International Women’s Day, 2022.
