The Upper Axim Traditional Council has revoked the appointment and enstoolment of the Nkosuohemaa of the Upper Axim Traditional Council, Nana Erzah Nkrumah II.

She was destooled over her deceitful nature, arrogance, and gross disrespect to the traditional authority.

A statement signed and released in Axim by the Acting President of Upper Axim Traditional Council, Nana Edusei II, on Tuesday September 14, 2021, said the decision to destool Nana Erzah Nkrumah II known in private life as Diana Ofori, was taken at the traditional Council meeting held on Friday, September 9, 2021.

All traditional rites to finalize her destoolment were also performed on that day, the statement added.

“The destoolment is attributed to your insolence, arrogance deceitful nature and total disrespect to the Traditional Authority. Henceforth, you cannot carry yourself as the Nkosuohemaa of Upper Axim Traditional Council. The general public is hereby notified accordingly”, the statement of which the President of Nzema Manle Traditional Council, Awulae Amihere Kpanyinli III, Atuabo, the Municipal Chief Executive, Nzema East, BNI, and the District Police Commander, Axim were all copied, in part further read.
