The Atlas Lions of Morocco have beaten Portugal in the quarter-finals to become the first African country to reach the semi-finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The Atlas Lions of Morocco have beaten Portugal in the quarter-finals to become the first African country to reach the semi-finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Morocco who went into the game as the only African representative in the 2022 World Cup defended their lives after taking the lead in the 42nd minute through Youssef En Nesyri.
