The kidneys are very important body organs responsible for removing waste from the body. The kidneys and the liver are responsible for removing toxins from the body.

However, a person’s lifestyle can help to keep his kidneys healthy and may also damage them. In this article we want to highlight some ways a person may facilitate the damaging of his/ her kidneys.

1. Not taking enough water.

Water is the most important fluid that can help your kidneys to perform their functions effectively. When we fail to drink enough water, the solid wastes in the kidney may bind together and form kidney stones.

2. Uncontrolled diabetes.

People with diabetes who fail to manage their diabetes may put their kidneys in jeopardy. According to Cleveland clinic, one of the greatest causes of kidney failure is uncontrolled diabetes.

3. Poor management of high blood pressure.

Hypertension is another major cause of kidney failure. People whose blood pressure levels are very high should take medication and other lifestyle changes that may help to bring it down.

This is particularly important for people who are battling with diabetes. When blood sugar level is very high coupled with very high blood pressure, the kidneys are in very great danger
