Coronary artery disease or coronary heart disease has become one of the health conditions that affects lots of people on a regular basis due to some kinds of things that they do. According to an article written by Clevelandclinic, I will list some classes of people who are at risk of developing coronary artery disease in order to seek medical help immediately before it causes more damage to their bodies.

1. You are at risk of developing coronary artery disease if you have excess body cholesterol. If you have excess body cholesterol in your body, it can block your coronary arteries and as a result, it may not allow enough blood to pass through. So, you should do more exercise in order to lower your body cholesterol.

2. Coronary heart disease can also be as a result of excess body weight. If you have excess body weight, it can put more pressure on your coronary artery or heart. So, you should try your best to reduce your body weight through exercise.

3. Another group of people who are at risk of developing coronary heart disease are those who have a history of high blood pressure because if your blood pressure is high, it may weaken your heart and as a result, it may lead to coronary heart disease.

4. If you are the type that always likes to smoke cigarettes or tobacco products on a regular basis, you may be at risk of developing coronary heart disease because of the nicotine content in these products. The nicotine compound in these products can weaken your heart, lungs and other parts of your body.
