UNIHEAD Ltd, official representatives of NetDragon has announced today, the introduction of Edmodoworld.com to replace the Edmodo.com platform.
For more than a decade, the Edmodo.com platform has served over 100 million users around the world, growing to become a world-leading learning management system (LMS) supporting Ministries of Education, schools, and teachers around the world to connect to Learners.
At the onset of COVID-19, Edmodo.com was listed among the top recommended for large-scale adoption by Ministries of Education by UNESCO.
In Ghana, UNIHEAD LTD was pleased to work with the Ministry of Education, Ghana Education Service, and the Ghana Library Authority to deploy and enhance various functional components of the platform to support remote and distance learning.
On 22nd September 2022, NetDragon will close the Edmodo.com platform.
However, it will be replaced with Edmodoworld.com with enhanced capabilities. Users in Ghana have over the last few weeks been advised to download their content from Edmodo.com.
Users are encouraged to contact their School Administrators for a smooth transition.

UNIHEAD Ltd, a Ghanaian company is the representative of Netdragon Websoft Inc, a leading global technology firm. In 2020, it worked with the Ministry of Education of Ghana to launch Edmodo LMS as part of an education response plan to promote remote and distance learning in Ghana.
The platform currently has 46,292 users which includes 1,408 school administrators, 5,582 teachers, 38,173 learners, and 1,129 parents.
