The Bible needs amendment – Boris Kodjoe

The International actor Boris Kodjo has stated that the Bible needs amendment.

Speaking on Starr Chat with Bola Ray the International actor stated that he believes in the word of God but there should be some changes.

“I prescribe to a lot of things in the good Book and I think that there are some other things that need innovation or amendment. It is like the Constitution and I think that there are certain things that have to change according to the times that we live in.

“God is timeless but the word of God was not written by God. It was written by men and that is their subjective experience and expression of how they receive the word of God. I believe in a lot of it but there are also things that I think need some revamping. For instance no sex before marriage, I respect when people make that choice but it is not for me,” Mr. Kodjoe stated.

According to him, despite his stands with some portions with the work of God he does not comprise family values.

“But we still have some traditional values and principles when it comes to family. Like we have dinner together every night. There are no cell phones or video games at the dinner table.

“I think that it is very important that you raise your children with a sense of some fundamentals grounded somewhere so that they know who they are and where they came from,” he stated.
